Buyer
TLD, a fast paced, expanding food service Distribution Company located in the City
of Industry is currently searching for a strong Purchasing Buyer. The ideal candidate
must have the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced high pressure environment,
under deadlines, and while recognizing the importance of teamwork and professionalism.
This candidate must be dependable and highly organized, with business maturity,
enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have a strong
background in purchasing and in the food and beverage industry. The perfect candidate
will have a minimum of 2-3 years purchasing experience.
Position Requirements:
- Analyze product sales by region, market and segments to identify areas of strength
and weakness.
- Establishes inventory replenishment quantities utilizing tern management
- Perform routine analytics and possess excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
- Must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows applications; i.e.; word, excel PowerPoint,
etc.
- Attend national trade shows and regional shows as required
- Must be able to work independently
